Gallons, Pints, Quarts, Cups

Do your students have a hard time remembering how many quarts in a gallon? pints in a quart? and so on? One of the best ways for them to remember these is to provide physical hands on experience. For example, using a cup and filling up a pint container to see how many cups it takes to fill it. Have students bring in various containers for gallons, pints, quarts, and cups. Set up a station so they can experiment with these units of measurement.
